Adams upset at lack of fight

Tony Adams refused to blame the formation for Pompey’s FA Cup exit and insisted: It was because we didn’t fight.

The Blues manager feels his team were outbattled and outplayed by Championship side Swansea on Saturday – and that is why their defence of the title they gloriously lifted last May has ended in failure.

Adams’ men delivered an abject first-half display at Fratton Park, conceding both of the goals in their 2-0 defeat.

That gave them a mountain to climb and they couldn’t drag themselves back into the game, despite throwing everything at the visitors.

  1. TA the players are slacking on you . Now you have got two more midfielders you can cut out a bit of deadwood.It is a silly way to think but if you dont want to play for POMPEY at least put in a good performance so as to get somebody to want at seasons end.I would liked to have seenD,allessandro return .
